Job DescriptionInnovative and dynamic national mass tort law firm seeks a skilled professional to work as a Litigation Manager and Liaison to help with our growing business. In order to succeed in this firm, you must have a strong work ethic, possess excellent writing and communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, good time management and be as committed as we are to providing the best service for our clients. You will collaborate with attorneys/paralegals/leads in the mass tort process, work closely with clients, develop and obtain client case specific proof required to sustain a claim. Medical, dental, vision, life insurance benefits are offered including a 401k plan.Essential Job Functions<ul><li>Supervise a team of Legal Assistants</li><li>Direct and lead mass update communication to team and clients</li><li>Extensive communication with clients, vendors, and outside counsel</li><li>Prepare correspondence and legal documents</li><li>Organize case files and address any issues that may arise with particular cases</li><li>Answer questions and concerns from clients and direct reports</li><li>Work with attorneys on case status updates</li><li>File cases for attorneys</li><li>Collect case evidence and documentation</li><li>Keep clients informed by relaying case developments</li><li>Maintain case management information in law database</li><li>Manage and follow up with team on plaintiff fact sheets and/or questionnaires</li><li>Review and pull expenses for clients to prepare for settlement</li><li>Calendar court deadlines and meet strict deadlines</li><li>Assist in interviewing potential legal assistants</li><li>Serve as a liaison between the firm and vendors</li><li>Assist attorneys with creating and maintaining projected injury categories for torts</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; RequirementsPosition requires two to five years of experience working in a law firm. ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE AND PARALEGAL CERTIFICATE IS MANDATORY. All applicants without such degree and certification will not be considered. Ability to proficiently read, write and speak English.
