Job Summary A Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers in a caf&eacute; or restaurant. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and Serve Beverages:</li><li>Make espresso and espresso drinks, matchas, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and customer preferences.</li><li>Operate professional espresso machines, grinders.</li><li>Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.</li><li>Offer product recommendations based on customer preferences.</li><li>Handle complaints or concerns in a professional manner.</li><li>Process transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system.</li><li>Manage cash, credit, and mobile payments responsibly.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, machines, and seating areas.</li><li>Follow food safety and hygiene regulations.</li><li>Refill supplies such as coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, lids, and napkins.</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Prior experience as a barista or in a caf&eacute; environment a must</li><li>Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to multitask and work under pressure</li><li>Attention to detail and strong work ethic</li><li>Basic math skills for handling cash and POS transactions</li><li>Brew and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to company recipes and customer preferences.</li><li>Operate espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.</li><li>Knowledgeof POS is a plus</li></ul>Job Type: Part-timePay: From $14.00 per hourWork Location: In person
