This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical knowledge and problem-solving skills are valued.Comfort Suites715 W Schilling RDSalina, KS, 67401Call 785-404-6944 schedule your interview.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical systems, hydraulics, and mechanical equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot and repair various machinery using schematics, precision measuring instruments, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.</li><li>Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and other industrial control systems.</li><li>Perform welding tasks, including &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding, as needed for repairs or modifications.</li><li>Use scissor lifts and other industrial equipment safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas.</li><li>Maintain detailed maintenance records using CMMS systems to track work orders and equipment history.</li><li>Assist with installation of new equipment or upgrades following technical specifications and schematics.</li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards related to high voltage, low voltage, electrical work, and industrial mechanic practices.</li><li>Respond promptly to emergency repairs to minimize downtime and ensure guest safety.</li><li>Collaborate with the engineering team to develop maintenance schedules that optimize operational efficiency.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in industrial maintenance within manufacturing facilities or similar environments.</li><li>Strong electrical knowledge including high voltage and low voltage systems; experience as an industrial electrician is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency with schematics, technical drawings, and analysis skills for troubleshooting complex systems.</li><li>Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, welding (including &lt;LOCATION&gt; welding), and mechanical repairs.</li><li>Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, and field service operations.</li><li>Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters accurately.</li><li>Experience working with industrial machinery in a manufacturing or military setting is advantageous.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication in English.</li><li>Strong analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions.</li><li>Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
