Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate General Dentist to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in general dentistry and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role involves performing a variety of dental procedures, engaging with patients, and ensuring adherence to best practices in dental health. The Associate General Dentist will work collaboratively with our team to deliver high-quality dental services while maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for patients.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.</li><li>Perform a wide range of dental procedures including, but not limited to, general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and dental extractions.</li><li>Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.</li><li>Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment options, procedures, and post-operative care.</li><li>Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.</li><li>Stay current on advancements in dental technology and practices through ongoing education.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.</li><li>Valid state dental license and ability to pass all required background checks.</li><li>Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging techniques.</li><li>Experience in pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.</li><li>Familiarity with root canal therapy, dental fabrication, and other specialized procedures is a plus.</li><li>Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred.</li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
