 Direct Counsel is seeking an experienced
 
 Real Estate Attorney
 
 to join a
 
 nationally recognized company
 
 with a strong presence in the
 
 commercial real estate and title industry
 
 . This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys
 
 hands-on transactional work
 
 and is looking to
 
 transition to (or continue) an in-house role
 
 that offers both

 .
 
 
 
 
 
 In this role, you&rsquo;ll be part of a
 
 collaborative, business-oriented legal team
 
 that plays a key part in managing and closing complex commercial real estate transactions&mdash;
 
 without the pressure of billable hours
 
 .
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Advise on
 
 commercial real estate transactions
 
 , including title review, underwriting, and related documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and resolve
 
 complex title, survey, and transactional issues
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft, review, and interpret a variety of legal documents, including
 
 purchase agreements, leases, easements, and loan documents
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Partner with internal teams and external parties to ensure
 
 efficient and compliant closings
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide
 
 practical, business-focused legal advice
 
 that supports company initiatives and mitigates risk.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 J.D. from an accredited law school and
 
 active license to practice law in the U.S.
 
 </li>
 <li>
 
 3&ndash;8 years of experience
 
 in
 
 commercial real estate law
 
 , ideally with exposure to
 
 title, underwriting, or transactional matters
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong
 
 drafting, analytical, and communication skills
 
 .
 </li>
 <li>
 A
 
 proactive, solutions-oriented
 
 approach and the ability to work effectively across departments.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Compensation &amp; Structure:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Base Salary:
 
 $130,000&ndash;$150,000 (commensurate with experience).
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Schedule:
 
 9:00 a.m. &ndash; 5:00 p.m., approximately 40 hours per week.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Hybrid Flexibility:
 
 A few in-office days per week required.
 </li>
 <li>
