Facilities Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and service of assigned equipment. Performs various tasks associated with maintenance and repair of various outlets with minimal supervision. 
Requirements:

 To perform this role successfully, the individual must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas. Additional duties may be assigned based on business needs. 
<ul><li>
Perform routine testing of wall-mounted medical gas outlets, electrical outlets, and equipment connections throughout the facility.</li><li>
Verify each outlet is functioning correctly, meets safety standards, and delivers the required pressure, flow, or electrical output.</li><li>
Document all test results accurately and report any failures, hazards, or deficiencies to the supervisor.</li><li>
Assist with minor troubleshooting or tagging defective outlets for repair.</li><li>
Follow infection control, safety procedures, and hospital protocols while working in patient rooms and clinical areas.</li><li>
Coordinate with clinical staff to access rooms and minimize disruption to patient care.</li><li>
Maintain testing tools, equipment logs, and daily work records.</li></ul>

Education &amp; Experience<ul><li>Associate&rsquo;s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or related field preferred.</li><li>Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.</li></ul> 
Technical Skills &amp; Abilities<ul><li>Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing outlets.</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks associated with equipment service.</li></ul> 
Communication<ul><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across teams.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities under pressure.</li><li>Commitment to a customer-first service model and continuous improvement.</li></ul>
Working Conditions<ul><li>Field-based role with regular travel to healthcare facilities.</li><li>Exposure to clinical environments and associated hazards (e.g., electrical, chemical, infectious agents).</li><li>Use of protective equipment and adherence to safety protocols required.</li></ul></div>
