Position OverviewAs the Lead Taper/Painter, you will oversee all drywall finishing and painting operations, perform hands-on work, coordinate materials and labor, maintain quality control, and communicate with customers and project managers. You will play an important role in supporting the company&rsquo;s continued growth and maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship. Travel will be required.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and supervise taper and painting crews on commercial projects</li><li>Perform hands-on taping, mudding, sanding, texturing, and interior/exterior painting</li><li>Complete accurate measurements and prepare material takeoffs</li><li>Manage project schedules, workflow, materials, and subcontractors</li><li>Maintain jobsite safety, quality control, and productivity</li><li>Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and office staff</li><li>Troubleshoot issues and ensure projects are completed on time and to company standards</li><li>Mentor, train, and support team members as needed</li><li>Contribute to improving processes and building a strong team culture</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of drywall taping/finishing and painting experience</li><li>Prior lead, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred</li><li>Ability to read plans and perform accurate takeoffs</li><li>Strong attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship</li><li>Solid project management and scheduling abilities</li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions and lift/carry materials</li></ul>Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Health savings account</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: On the road
