<p>The Buyer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and negotiating materials, goods, and services for the organization, as well as all other duties as assigned.</p>
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors.</li>
<li>Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.</li>
<li>Create and maintain relationships with suppliers.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods.</li>
<li>Analyze market trends and make recommendations for purchasing decisions.</li>
<li>Collaborate with internal teams to ensure purchasing needs are met.</li>
</ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Skills and Qualifications:</b></h3>
<ul><li>Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar role.</li>
<li>Prior experience in an industrial or heavy manufacturing environment strongly preferred.</li>
<li>Strong negotiation skills.</li>
<li>Effective analytical skills.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and follow up.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.</li>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.</li>
<li>Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodation.</li></ul></div>
