Job DescriptionIvy League Kids Early Education is looking for energetic and dedicated early education teachers and teacher assistants. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and educational environment for our youngest learners, fostering each child's individual growth and development.Job Responsibilities for Early Education Teachers<ul><li>Help develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers</li><li>Observe, guide, and supervise children in the classroom</li><li>Foster imagination, creativity, self-esteem, and independence in students</li><li>Communicate directly with parents on student progress, reporting challenges and successes</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive learning environment</li></ul>Job Responsibilities for Teacher Assistants<ul><li>Assist lead teachers in the implementation of curriculum and daily activities</li><li>Support children's learning and development through hands-on activities</li><li>Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment</li><li>Help prepare educational materials and organize classroom resources</li><li>Communicate with parents and provide feedback on their child's progress</li></ul>Qualifications for Early Education Teachers<ul><li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li><li>Experience working in a childcare facility, preferably with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers</li><li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent</li><li>Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply</li><li>Gateways ECE Credential Level 3 or willingness to obtain</li></ul>Qualifications for Teacher Assistants<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li><li>Experience working with young children preferred</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent required</li><li>Early Childhood Education coursework or CDA credential preferred</li><li>Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply</li><li>Gateways ECE Credential Level 2 or willingness to obtain</li></ul>Benefits<ul><li>Health insurance</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Free tuition for your child in our daycare or before/after school program</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Employee discount</li></ul>Schedule<ul><li>Monday to Friday, 7:15 am - 4:15 pm; may vary</li><li>Expected hours: 30 &ndash; 40 per week</li></ul>Pay<ul><li>Early Education Teachers: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour</li><li>Teacher Assistants: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour</li></ul>Application Question(s)<ul><li>Do you have at least 12 semester hours in Early Childhood Education?</li><li>Are you available to work the scheduled hours?</li></ul>Education<ul><li>Associate's Degree (Preferred for Teachers)</li><li>High School diploma or equivalent (Required for Teachers and Teacher Assistants)</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Early childhood education: 2 years (Preferred for Teachers)</li></ul>License/Certification<ul><li>Driver's License (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location<ul><li>In person</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Childcare</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Professional development assistance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
