We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant/Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations and a positive patient experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, multitasking ability, and a strong commitment to patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesFront Desk &amp; Administrative Duties<ul><li>Patient Check-In &amp; Check-Out: Greet patients, verify and update demographics, and ensure all required information is collected.</li><li>Appointment Scheduling: Book, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.</li><li>Phone &amp; Email Management: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and direct inquiries appropriately.</li><li>Orders &amp; Documentation: Provide order forms to patients, upload forms to charts, and fax orders to satellite locations.</li><li>EHR Management: Accurately update and maintain patient records in Practice Fusion, AMD, Epic, and U/S machine systems.</li><li>Insurance Verification: Confirm patient copays, coverage, and pre-authorizations for all appointments and procedures.</li><li>Billing &amp; Payments: Process patient invoices, handle copayments, and assist with account management.</li><li>Referrals: Send referrals to appropriate physician offices.</li><li>Medical Records: Maintain and update medical records; send records to L&amp;D, prenatal departments, and other necessary parties.</li></ul>Clinical Duties<ul><li>Vital Signs &amp; Patient Prep: Measure and document vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, weight, and height.</li><li>Medication Administration: Administer injections or medications as directed by providers.</li><li>Assisting Physicians: Prepare exam rooms, hand instruments to providers, and assist with minor procedures.</li><li>Specimen Collection: Collect urine samples and perform basic laboratory tests.</li><li>Room Turnover: Clean, restock, and prepare exam rooms between patient visits.</li><li>Sanitization: Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.</li><li>Medical Supply &amp; Inventory Management: Restock office and medical supplies.</li><li>Patient Education: Provide instructions on medications, procedures, and follow-up care.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Mountain View, CA 94040 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Mountain View, CA 94040: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Willingness to travel:<ul><li>25% (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
