In doing this, we build a respected, high-performing team and create landscapes that make every property the envy of the neighborhood.This hands-on role supports a wide range of residential landscaping services, from routine yard maintenance to larger outdoor improvement projects. The ideal candidate has a valid driver&rsquo;s license, can communicate in basic Spanish (preferred), and is dependable, hard-working, and comfortable working outdoors.Responsibilities:<ul><li>Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality</li><li>Ensure the crew is efficient, accurate and completes all projects to our high level of standards</li><li>Monitor progress daily and make decisions regarding the production of the job</li><li>Learn and train new skills</li><li>Work alongside crew on projects ranging from routine yard maintenance to larger projects such as sod installation, drainage systems and retaining walls</li><li>Monitor inventory and equipment</li><li>Effective and friendly communication with clients</li><li>Ensure the crew is following safe work practices</li><li>Enforce job site rules</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and backgrounds</li><li>Ability to manage a crew of 3+ individuals</li><li>2+ years experience building hardscapes, retaining walls, irrigation systems and other aspects of landscape construction</li><li>Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions</li><li>Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping and how to operate them, including heavy equipment</li><li>Willingness and ability to train and develop employees</li><li>2+ years experience managing a team is not required but preferred</li><li>1+ years experience with irrigation system installation is not required but preferred</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and reliable transportation</li><li>Ability to drive a truck with a trailer</li><li>Basic Spanish communication (preferred)</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
