The SQE core responsibilities will be onboarding suppliers, communicating with suppliers, validating concerns, root cause analysis, resolving product/paperwork holds, conducting audits &amp; analyzing data for metrics.
Main Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Analyze &amp; validate the reported internal supplier issues.</li><li>
Determine cause &amp; responsibility by reviewing drawings or specifications &amp; measuring parts.</li><li>
Notify suppliers, initiate containment, update internal systems &amp; generate/ follow up on corrective actions.</li><li>
Perform virtual &amp; onsite supplier audits as needed.</li><li>
Address products&rsquo; paperwork issues with suppliers &amp; maintain the systems.</li><li>
Maintain &amp; generate reports/charts for metrics utilizing data mining from various support systems.</li><li>
Accuracy, attention to details &amp; appropriate turnaround time in all internal &amp; external communication.</li><li>
Experience in advancing a Zero-Defect culture utilizing advanced Quality tools such as statistical analysis, PFMEA,8D corrective acti on, A3 problem solving, 5 why analysis, Ishikawa diagrams and other six sigma tools.</li><li>
Ability to solve a wide range of difficult problems in imaginative and practical ways and evaluate alternative solutions that may require coordination across multiple teams. Ability to establish goals and objectives to complete projects.</li><li>
Prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.</li><li>
Travel 20% or less domestic and international.</li></ul> 

Must Have Requirements:
<ul><li>Interpret blueprints, specifications &amp; work instructions.</li><li>
Root cause analysis / problem solving utilizing advanced Quality tools such as statistical analysis, PFMEA,8D corrective acti on, A3 problem solving, 5 why analysis, Ishikawa diagrams and other six sigma tools.</li><li>
APQP/PPAP/FAIR background is strongly preferred</li><li>
Supplier quality audit experience.</li><li>
Hands-on expertise in measurement methods &amp; tools.</li><li>
Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word &amp; PowerPoint)</li><li>
Data analysis &amp; mining &ndash; Pivot charts.</li><li>
US Person (under ITAR rules) to be eligible.</li></ul> 

Preferred Requirements:
<ul><li>At least 5 years&rsquo; experience in demonstrated process improvement success; proven accomplishments utilizing Lean tools/methodologies; Structured Problem Solving, 5S, Mistake-Proofing and process capability tools required to drive the continuous improvement culture into the organization.</li><li>
4+ years&rsquo; experience as a Quality Engineer in Aerospace.</li><li>
M.S. or B.S. degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or related job experience.</li><li>
Net-Inspect experience is strongly preferred but not required.</li></ul>

Job Description:
<ul><li>Conceptual and detailed design of aero engine external components using conventional hand calculations.</li><li>
Perform stack-up analysis &amp; design hand calculations.</li><li>
Follow all required standard work to finalize design</li><li>
Represent design team at various CCB reviews</li><li>
Create and review drafting and CAD models of aero engine components.</li><li>
Interact with customers as needed on task status from a technical standpoint.</li></ul>
Required Skills:
<ul><li>Design Engineer (Aero Engines Externals)</li><li>
Sound knowledge in mechanical design fundamentals, engineering concepts, and applications.</li><li>
Design and drafting experience with aero engine projects or other aero engine manufacturers projects.</li><li>
Rich experience working on aero engine external parts</li><li>
Proficient in drafting and modeling using CAD tools for external module components such (e.g., bracket &amp; tube designs)</li><li>
Proficient in using CAD tools (e.g., Siemens NX , CATIA V5, or Creo) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Enovia).</li><li>
Ensure design compliance with aero engine requirements, tolerance stack-up analysis, GD&amp;T, and adherence to aerospace drafting standards</li><li>
Capability to understand and interpret structural analysis results.</li><li>
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).</li><li>
Sound understanding of the build and functionality of aero engine and sub-modules.</li><li>
Experience interacting with customers to solve critical problems.</li><li>
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
An excellent team player.</li></ul>
Desired Skills:
<ul><li>Exposure to manufacturing processes and deviation resolutions.</li><li>
Advanced modeling and drafting skills in any CAD tools.</li><li>
