This role is based in our Raleigh office and requires on-site presence five days a week.
What You&rsquo;ll Do
Payroll, HR Operations &amp; Employee Records<ul><li>
Process weekly payroll for assigned locations with a high level of accuracy.</li><li>
Audit timekeeping records and resolve discrepancies with managers.</li><li>
Maintain employee records in the HRIS with accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>
Manage employee verifications, ensuring timely and compliant responses.</li><li>
Administer garnishments, including processing orders, updating payroll, and maintaining documentation.</li><li>
Partner with the Payroll &amp; Benefits Manager to support clean, compliant, and efficient HR operations.</li></ul>
Recruiting &amp; Onboarding<ul><li>
Lead non-exempt recruiting for the Home Office, including job postings, screening, scheduling, and offers.</li><li>
Coordinate temporary staffing placements for the Home Office when needed.</li><li>
Conduct Home Office new hire orientations, ensuring all paperwork, compliance requirements, and introductions are completed smoothly.</li><li>
Support restaurant hiring managers with applicant flow and recruitment coordination.</li><li>
Facilitate a seamless onboarding experience, including I-9 verification, new-hire paperwork, HRIS setup, and first-day preparation.</li><li>
Ensure all onboarding steps are completed in compliance with policy and legal requirements.</li></ul>
Workers&rsquo; Compensation &amp; Unemployment<ul><li>
Serve as the first point of contact for workplace injury reports and workers&rsquo; compensation claims.</li><li>
Coordinate documentation, incident investigations, and follow-up with insurance partners.</li><li>
Manage unemployment claims, respond to inquiries, and participate in hearings as needed.</li></ul>
Employee Relations, Auditing &amp; Compliance<ul><li>
Assist HR Business Partners in addressing employee relations concerns by gathering information, coordinating documentation, and supporting investigations.</li><li>
Provide timely, professional customer service to employees and managers.</li><li>
Help ensure consistent application of policies and a positive employee experience.</li><li>
Conduct regular HR audits (I-9, personnel files, payroll records, compliance training).</li></ul><ul><li>
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to strengthen efficiency and compliance.</li><li>
Support annual HR calendar initiatives, including reporting, training, and policy updates.</li></ul>
Employee Engagement<ul><li>
Conduct exit interviews and track turnover trends to provide insights to HR leadership.</li><li>
Maintain birthday and anniversary programs, ensuring timely recognition of employees.</li><li>
Support company-wide recognition programs and appreciation initiatives.</li><li>
Track participation and program effectiveness, making recommendations to enhance engagement.</li><li>
Partner with HR leadership to strengthen overall employee engagement and workplace experience.</li></ul>
What You&rsquo;ll Bring<ul><li>
2&ndash;4 years of experience in HR, payroll, or HR operations (hospitality experience a plus).</li><li>
Strong attention to detail with a passion for accuracy.</li><li>
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.</li><li>
Excellent communication and customer-service skills when working with employees and managers.</li><li>
Experience with payroll systems, HRIS platforms, or applicant tracking systems.</li><li>
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Comfortable working on-site in the office five days per week.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree: HRCI/SHRM certifications preferred</li></ul>

We&rsquo;re looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who will partner closely with operations leaders to create an environment where every team member feels supported, respected, and inspired to grow. This is a strategic, hands-on role that blends people leadership, problem-solving, and future-focused planning. You&rsquo;ll work with restaurant leadership to develop high-performing teams, guide leaders through employee relations with empathy and clarity, and help shape a workplace culture built on dignity, respect, and belonging.
What You&rsquo;ll Do:
People Strategy &amp; Operations Support<ul><li>
Partner with leaders to develop strategic people plans that align staffing, development, engagement, and retention needs with business goals.</li><li>
Use HR data and trends (turnover, staffing levels, training metrics) to help leaders anticipate challenges and create proactive action plans.</li><li>
Communicate policy updates and process changes clearly to the field.</li><li>
Assist with compliance training and annual HR calendar initiatives.</li></ul>
HR Consulting &amp; Employee Relations<ul><li>
Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations concerns in your region.</li><li>
Guide leaders through performance management, conflict resolution, and investigations.</li><li>
Ensure consistent application of company policies and compliance with employment laws.</li><li>
Maintain a balanced approach, protecting both the company and the employee&rsquo;s experience.</li></ul>
Talent Management &amp; Succession Planning<ul><li>
Partner with leaders to identify high-potential team members and create development plans.</li><li>
Lead succession planning processes for key roles in assigned areas.</li><li>
Collaborate with the recruiter to address talent gaps and hiring needs.</li><li>
Track progress toward talent and succession goals.</li></ul>
Leadership Coaching &amp; Development<ul><li>
Provide one-on-one coaching to managers to strengthen leadership skills.</li><li>
Design, implement and facilitate leadership development programs for restaurant management and corporate staff.</li><li>
Share best practices and tools to help leaders engage and inspire their teams.</li></ul>
Strategic HR Initiatives<ul><li>
Create to company-wide culture, engagement, and retention programs.</li><li>
Provide data-driven insights to improve HR processes and decision-making.</li><li>
Partner with senior HR leadership on organizational development projects.</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>
5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in hospitality or multi-unit operations.</li><li>
3+ years project management (from ideation to implementation) experience
</li><li>Strong background in employee relations, leadership coaching, and talent management.</li><li>
Someone who knows how to balance empathy with accountability when making people decisions.</li><li>
Ability to influence others to foster a culture where people feel valued and heard.</li><li>
Flexibility with some evening and weekend work occasionally.</li></ul>
