<div><p>We are seeking a talented and detail oriented Graphic Designer to join our team, specializing in packaging design for direct print corrugated products. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of core design principles and demonstrate proficiency in both digital and physical design processes. You will work closely with the Design Department Manager and Sales team to deliver high quality, print ready designs on schedule, with a strong focus on prepress requirements to ensure print success. Experience with CAD design, specifically for corrugated packaging, is essential.</p><ul><li>
College degree and technical training preferred; high school diploma or related equivalent required</li><li>
High-level proficiency in the following software:
<ul><li>Adobe Illustrator</li><li>
Adobe Photoshop</li><li>
Computer-aided Design (CAD) Software</li><li>
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) or equivalent</li></ul>
</li><li>Working knowledge of CAD design principles, particularly related to corrugated packaging</li><li>
Experience in corrugated manufacturing or printing is a plus</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in graphic design, preferably in packaging or print industries</li><li>
Familiarity with wide format printing and finishing equipment (Canon GP-4000, Kongsberg XL24)</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail</li><li>
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines</li></ul><ul><li>
Design packaging graphics for direct print corrugated applications</li><li>
Provide artwork for internal and customer approvals</li><li>
Create both physical and digital mockups of packaging designs</li><li>
Operate the Canon GP-4000 wide format printer for sample and mockup production</li><li>
Understand basic press functions to ensure all designs are within press capabilities</li><li>
Source and select graphic assets, such as stock imagery and fonts, for design projects</li><li>
Catalog, organize, and maintain art files, stock images, and font collections</li><li>
Review designs for errors and ensure accuracy before production</li><li>
Make and communicate prepress decisions using digital documentation</li><li>
Communicate regularly with the Design Department Manager</li><li>
Maintain moderate communication with Sales and Customers as needed</li><li>
Produce packaging samples using the Kongsberg XL24 cutting table</li><li>
Ensure corrugated material availability for sample creation</li><li>
Utilize tape measures accurately to the 1/16th of an inch in sample and design work</li><li>
Design and produce various company documents as assigned</li><li>
Coordinate with vendors and the Production team for tooling orders as required</li><li>
Maintain a clutter-free and organized Design Department workspace</li></ul></div>
