Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, the ability to multitask, and adaptability to change are essential for success in this position.Job Title: Shop HelperDepartment: ManufacturingReports to: Operations ManagerStatus: Full-time employeePayment : $18.00 an hourQualifications<ul><li>High school graduate.</li><li>1-3 years&rsquo; work experience preferred.</li><li>Must have valid proof of eligibility to work in the USA.</li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is a plus.</li></ul>General job responsibilities and qualifications needed to perform the job include, but are not limited to:<ul><li>Load and unload trucks; safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within the facility.</li><li>Package, repackage, and label materials and finished products for shipment or storage.</li><li>Assist with inventory management, including organizing and maintaining stock areas and tracking material flow.</li><li>Support fitters and welders with the handling of components, assembly prep, and general shop logistics.</li><li>Perform basic quality control checks on materials and assembled parts under the direction of the production team.</li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative when tasks arise.</li><li>Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and squares with accuracy.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned to support production and logistics operations.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Physical demands:<ul><li>While performing this job, the successful candidate will be regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to climb.</li><li>The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
