Job Summary This is a mid-level designer position. Peak Kitchen and Bath is a mid level kitchen and bath design/build firm. We are looking for someone who has a passion for Kitchen and Bath Design.We work with clients from concept to project completion. In this role, you will transform spaces into stunning, functional environments, you will collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, develop detailed design plans. Your passion for interior design, combined with your proficiency in drafting and CAD software, will help bring beautiful kitchens and bathrooms to life while ensuring projects stay on budget and schedule. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your design skills in a high-end, professional setting that values craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities<ul><li>Meet with clients to assess their needs, preferences, and budget for kitchen and bathroom remodels or new installations.</li><li>Create detailed design concepts using 20/20, SketchUp, OR AutoCAD, to visualize layouts, lighting plans, and material selections.</li><li>Develop comprehensive project proposals including specifications, color schemes based on color theory principles, and lighting designs that enhance space functionality and aesthetics.</li><li>Prepare accurate construction documents and contracts for seamless collaboration with trade partners and our team of installers.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure designs are executed accurately within scope and budget.</li><li>Conduct site visits during renovation or remodeling phases to oversee installation quality and resolve any design-related issues promptly.</li><li>Assist in sales efforts by presenting design ideas confidently to clients and providing expert advice on lighting sales, fixtures, materials, and finishes.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Experience as a Kitchen and Bath Designer or interior designer specializing in cabinetry, remodeling, or renovation projects.</li><li>Experience with drafting software such as 20/20, SketchUp, AutoCAD.</li><li>Some knowledge of construction processes including remodeling techniques, lighting design principles, budgeting strategies, and contract management.</li><li>Some familiarity with project management practices to coordinate multiple projects efficiently from concept through completion.</li><li>Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, contractors, and vendors effectively.
