Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal fluent in Spanish to join Peterson Law Office. We are a plaintiff-focused personal injury firm dedicated to exceptional client service and results. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Paralegal to support our attorneys and provide high-quality service to our diverse client base.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law or insurance industry related experience. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, and proficiency in the pre-litigation claims process. As a Paralegal at Peterson Law Office, you will play a crucial role in the client experience from case intake to resolution.Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Manage legal case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date.</li><li>Draft correspondence.</li><li>Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather information pertinent to cases.</li><li>Utilize project management skills to track deadlines and manage case timelines effectively.</li><li>Collaborate with attorneys on litigation strategies and provide support as needed.</li><li>Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to ethical standards in the legal profession.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or a related field is preferred.</li><li>Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw.</li><li>Familiarity with NetDocs, CasePeer, or similar legal case management software is preferred.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills for drafting documents and interacting with clients.</li><li>Experience in personal injury law or the insurance industry is a plus but not mandatory.</li><li>Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a law office environment.</li><li>French or other language proficiency a plus.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary commensurate with experience, plus performance-based incentives.</li><li>Benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, paid holidays, and retirement plan participation.</li><li>Technology-enabled, collaborative environment with opportunities for growth.</li></ul>Work EnvironmentIn-office position based in Lexington, KY.
