As Content Marketing Manager, you&rsquo;ll define and execute the content strategy that shapes how the world understands Profound. You&rsquo;ll own the storytelling engine that connects our brand, data, and community across written content, video, and emerging formats.<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
What You&rsquo;ll Do</h2><ul><li>
Develop and drive Profound&rsquo;s content strategy, translating complex ideas about AI, brand visibility, and marketing technology into clear, compelling stories.</li><li>
Write and edit high-quality long-form content including e-books, reports, blogs, customer stories, and thought leadership pieces that position Profound as the voice of authority in the answer-engine era.</li><li>
Create multi-format content across blog, video, social, and email that educates and inspires marketers to master Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).</li><li>
Lead video content production &mdash; from scripting and shooting to editing and publishing &mdash; for product explainers, brand videos, and thought leadership.</li><li>
Build a repeatable framework for content repurposing, turning insights, webinars, and interviews into high-performing assets that drive pipeline.</li><li>
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Growth, and Comms to amplify product launches, events, and campaigns with cohesive storytelling and prose.</li><li>
Use analytics and data storytelling to measure impact, surface insights, and refine how we communicate Profound&rsquo;s value and vision.</li><li>
Experiment with emerging channels and AEO strategies to ensure Profound&rsquo;s voice leads the conversation about AI and brand control.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Who You Are</h2><ul><li>
A strategic storyteller who can translate technical ideas into narratives that resonate with marketers.</li><li>
You&rsquo;ve led or contributed to content programs at a SaaS, AI, or marketing technology company and can show measurable growth from your work.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re experienced in both written and video content scripting, producing, and editing.</li><li>
You understand how to build and scale content systems, not just single pieces, and know how to maximize the life of a great idea.</li><li>
You&rsquo;re fluent in SEO, AEO, and distribution strategies, with a strong grasp of how algorithms and search behavior are changing.</li><li>
You know how to use data to shape stories and decisions, not just dashboards.</li><li>
Bonus: experience with storytelling around AI, analytics, or the future of search and marketing.</li></ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Compensation &amp; Benefits</h2>
For this role, the expected base salary range is $120,000 &ndash; $180,000, plus equity and a full suite of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on your experience and fit.
