You thrive at the intersection of marketing technology and user experience.In this full-time position at our Newton, Massachusetts headquarters (hybrid), the Digital Operations Specialist: Marketing Technology and Ecommerce is a key member of our nimble and entrepreneurial marketing team who executes campaigns and other initiatives to drive growth for all of our business units (publishing, executive education, and management consulting).You&rsquo;ll work with our forward-thinking marketing team help execute accurate and timely campaigns across digital marketing channels including our website(s) and email marketing, study email list performance and make recommendations, brainstorm audience generation campaigns and then deploy, manage inbound lead flow and segmentation, develop nurture campaigns, help our paid search vendor track orders, and other tasks as related to digital marketing initiatives.The Breakdown: Technical Operations (50%) including but not limited to:<ul><li>Build and customize web pages and microsites in HubSpot/WordPress</li><li>Implement tracking codes, forms, and technical integrations</li><li>Monitor site performance and fix UX/UI issues</li><li>Occasionally troubleshoot and resolve ecommerce/payment processing issues</li><li>Liaise with outside technical support vendors as needed</li></ul>Marketing Execution (50%) including but not limited to:<ul><li>Deploy email nurture campaigns collaboratively with marketing team colleagues</li><li>Execute A/B tests on landing pages and forms</li><li>Manage SEO implementation and paid search vendors</li><li>Analyze campaign performance and optimize conversions</li></ul>Required Technical Skills:<ul><li>Proven ability to build and customize websites in HubSpot, WordPress, or similar platforms (not just manage content)</li><li>HTML/CSS proficiency for troubleshooting and customization</li><li>Experience with marketing automation workflows and technical implementation</li></ul>The ideal candidate for this role is someone who embraces marketing technology and thrives on collaboration, with a solid understanding of the tactics and strategies of data-driven marketing. To be successful in this role, bring a deep passion for creating and optimizing web and digital experiences that delight leads and customers.Reporting to the Marketing Director, your primary responsibilities in this key role are to:Serve as the strategic lead for the company website(s) with the goal of driving traffic, engagement, and click-throughs by optimizing content and website experiences:<ul><li>Execute, manage, and optimize email, social media, search engine optimization, and other website traffic sources</li><li>Collaborate with internal teams to create and optimize lead generation forms and landing pages</li><li>Manage and optimize our e-commerce store to maximize conversions</li><li>Implement and manage new strategies to grow the company&rsquo;s digital marketing audience</li><li>Track digital marketing campaigns using web analytics to improve channel/campaign performance, while maximizing ROI of marketing campaign</li><li>Produce monthly reports and participate in meetings with management team</li></ul>Because of the nature of this role and the fast-paced culture that we thrive in at PSMJ, we need someone who is a self-starter, who isn&rsquo;t afraid of questioning the status quo, and who is very goal-oriented. The ideal candidate also brings:<ul><li>A track record with 5+ years of experience managing digital marketing campaigns, platforms, and initiatives</li><li>Proven experience with HubSpot, Salesforce, and WordPress</li><li>Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently</li><li>Comfortable working with development teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues</li><li>Excellent communication skills and solid attention to detail</li><li>Experience with HTML and/or CSS required</li><li>Experience with API integrations or webhooks preferred</li><li>Ecommerce management comfort with PayPal and Woocommerce is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with the architecture or engineering and/or publishing/events industries is a plus</li></ul>If you are just looking for a job, keep on looking.
