Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic long-term substitute teacher or intern to teach 6th&ndash;8th Grade Science from January 5, 2026 through May 29, 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced long-term substitute or a student-teacher seeking a paid practicum placement for the spring semester. The ideal candidate is reliable, flexible, and passionate about supporting middle-school learners.Responsibilities<ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned to curriculum standards</li><li>Manage classroom routines, behavior expectations, and daily operations</li><li>Oversee labs, activities, and hands-on learning appropriate for middle school</li><li>Grade assignments and maintain accurate records</li><li>Communicate effectively with students, staff, and families as needed</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (completed or in progress) in Education, Science, or related field</li><li>Experience working with middle-school students preferred</li><li>Ability to follow the existing curriculum while contributing creative ideas</li><li>Must be reliable and committed to the full January&ndash;May assignment</li></ul>Ideal Candidate:Someone who is energetic, student-centered, collaborative, and eager to gain meaningful teaching experience in a supportive and fun environment.How to Apply:Please submit your resume and a brief statement of interest through Indeed.
