Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager - Restaurant to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for the food service industry. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of food preparation, customer service, staff training, and financial management within a fast-paced hospitality environment. The General Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and service while driving operational excellence and team development.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food service, kitchen management, and customer satisfaction.</li><li>Oversee staff hiring, training, supervision, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and efficient team.</li><li>Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper handling procedures in compliance with health regulations.</li><li>Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to optimize profitability.</li><li>Supervise food preparation processes, ensuring quality standards are met consistently across all menu items.</li><li>Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and sales reporting.</li><li>Implement shift management strategies to ensure smooth transitions between shifts and optimal staffing levels.</li><li>Conduct regular staff training sessions on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures.</li><li>Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.</li><li>Develop and enforce policies related to hospitality management, food production, catering services, and bar operations if applicable.</li><li>Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality standards and cost efficiency.</li><li>Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and analyzing sales reports to meet business goals.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven management experience within the food industry, preferably in quick service &amp; fast food or casual dining environments.</li><li>Strong background in food preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen management.</li><li>Experience supervising staff in hospitality or restaurant settings; team management skills essential.</li><li>Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and sanitation.</li><li>Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on training &amp; development, staff mentoring, and performance improvement.</li><li>Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.</li><li>Ability to manage inventory control, budgeting, and operational costs efficiently.</li><li>Previous experience in restaurant management or assistant manager roles is highly desirable; hospitality or hotel experience is a plus.</li><li>Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
