Basic FunctionUnder the general direction and supervision of the Regional Programs Director (RPD), this position will manage the &lsquo;Watch Stander&rsquo; Veteran suicide prevention training program, the Veteran Safe Place (VSP) program, and the &lsquo;Ambassador&rsquo; Train-the-Trainer program in the applicable geographic area, as customized for the VA&rsquo;s Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program (SSG Fox SPGP). This Manager has the authority to act on the RPD&rsquo;s behalf to provide direction to vendors and employees associated with delivering Veteran suicide prevention training.Essential Functions and Duties<ul><li>Manage daily tasks of the abovementioned programs, customized for SSG Fox SPGP</li><li>Identify, coordinate, train, and manage individuals as Watch Standers</li><li>Identify, coordinate, train, and manage organizations as VSPs</li><li>Identify, coordinate, train, and manage individuals as Ambassadors</li><li>Post training administrative duties, as required</li><li>Represent The Fire Watch at special events and/or make presentations when needed</li><li>Receive and respond to questions and concerns from regional stakeholders, including Watch Standers, prospective Watch Standers, community partners, vendors, sponsors, etc.</li><li>Periodically review all training to ensure safety, compliance, and accuracy</li><li>Review and administer progress reports for the RPD</li></ul>Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThis position may manage a volunteer staff of 3-5 Ambassador trainersOther Duties<ul><li>Perform any other duties as assigned by management</li><li>Maintain positive and professional communication with organization and partner employees</li><li>Collaborate with management to develop best practices for Veteran suicide prevention programming</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Have a college diploma or equivalent</li><li>Must have strong knowledge or experience in suicide prevention and mental health resilience</li><li>Preference for U.S. military Veteran</li><li>Must have qualified as a Fire Watch &lsquo;Watch Stander&rsquo; at www.thefirewatch.org</li><li>Must have good leadership and management skills and be highly motivated</li><li>Must have good presentation and public speaking skills</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
