Thompson Pipe Group is currently looking for General Labor.</b></div><div><b>
Essential Job Functions:</b></div><div>
These are functioning a qualified incumbent or applicant must be able to perform with or without reasonable accommodation.</div><ul><li>
Lifts and carries materials and tools throughout work areas using appropriate equipment.</li><li>
Completing final finish on a poured concrete product, using power tools and hand tools</li><li>
Use hand tools such as the hammer, sledgehammer, wrench, pliers to accomplish daily tasks.</li></ul><ul><li>
Assist with the install of plates, rebar, and wire, insulation, lifters, reveals, and anchors.</li><li>
Also assist with tying rebar, grinding, buffing.</li><li>
Taping and cutting strand, cleaning Burks, bagging in blackouts, finish exposed sides</li><li>
Patch Concrete Pipes- blending structural concrete, working with many different raw materials.</li><li>
Finish product in an attractive manner free of cracks and imperfections</li></ul><ul><li>
Removing rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, and patches holes with fresh concrete</li><li>
May be required to use a pressure washer and/or sandblasting equipment</li><li>
Always maintains neat and orderly work areas.</li><li>
Cleaning Yard and picking up trash.</li><li>
Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Bring problems to the attention of Safety Team/ Supervisor.</li><li>
Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures.</li><li>
Reports any problems or discrepancies to management.</li></ul><ul><li>
Perform pre-operation inspections on an assigned forklift to ensure it is in safe operating condition, report at once any safety concerns or operational issues with the forklift.</li><li>
Must work within the attendance policy guidelines.</li><li>
Other duties may be assigned.</li></ul><div><b>
Education and Experience:</b></div><ul><li>
Experience working in a construction or outside environment is highly preferred.</li><li>
Must be able to follow instructions both verbally and in writing</li><li>
Ability to use hand tools.</li><li>
1 -2 years-Construction Experience</li><li>
1-2 Years- Landscaping Experience</li><li>
1-2 Years- Manufacturing Precast Concrete(Preferred)</li><li>
Concrete Finishing: 1 year (Preferred)</li><li>
Pouring and finishing concrete in forms</li><li>
Teamwork environment</li><li>
Must have a safety-first attitude</li></ul><div><b>

Physical Demands:</b></div><div>

Able to work in dust and outside environment conditions (i.e. rain, wind)</li><li>
Ability to lift 35 lbs. or more.</li><li>
Standing, walking, and stooping throughout the shift.</li><li>
Ability to keep up with manufacturing requirements.</li><li>
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency</li><li>
Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.</li><li>
Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.</li><li>
Use to wearing earplugs and other PPE &ndash; such as a hard hat, steel-toed boots, gloves and safety glasses as required.</li></ul><div><b>
