 This is a junior-level position responsible for the cost-efficient and effective procurement of goods and services. The position is responsible for assisting in the selection, development, negotiation, and execution of contracts that cover a wide variety of specifications and commercial items or services. The incumbent will also be responsible for gathering and presenting utilisation and spend information for the purpose of building and managing sourcing category strategies.
 
 
 &bull; Works with internal clients to integrate procurement processes and policies into regular business practice, including assisting with accurate completion of Workday processes and compliance with procurement policies.
 
 
 &bull; Procures goods and services as assigned via eProcurement tools. Evaluates products and services for overall value (including price, quality, etc.)
 
 
 Obtain quotes; conduct cost analysis; and participate and price and term/condition negotiations.
 
 
 &bull; Acts as first tier problem resolution concerning quality, deliveries, Accounts Payable issues, outstanding items, damaged goods and incorrect shipments
 
 
 &bull; Assists other Strategic Sourcing staff with special projects
 
 
 &bull; Generates queries and reports from the appropriate Strategic Sourcing systems for internal customers as requested
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Education/Experience:
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience
 
 
 &bull; 1- 2 years of experience in the strategic sourcing/procurement field preferred.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Knowledge:
 
 
 
 &bull; Preferred - Healthcare Industry, Contracting (Legal), Finance, Technology, Workday
 
 
 &bull; Requires good PC skills (MS Office)
 
 
 &bull; Prefers working knowledge of eProcurement systems (i.e. Workday, Icertis, Cognos)

 &bull; Translate complex operational procedures into clear, structured knowledge articles suitable for AI consumption.
 
 
 &bull; Ensure articles follow metadata, tagging, and formatting standards for AI training and automation platforms.
 
 
 &bull; AI &amp; Automation Enablement
 
 
 &bull; Partner with AI developers and automation teams to identify knowledge gaps and opportunities for process automation.
 
 
 &bull; Validate and test knowledge articles in AI environments to ensure accuracy and usability.
 
 
 &bull; Continuously refine content based on AI performance feedback and user interactions.
 
 
 &bull; Stakeholder Collaboration
 
 
 &bull; Facilitate workshops and interviews with business units to capture tribal knowledge and undocumented processes.
 
 
 &bull; Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure alignment on knowledge strategy.

 &bull; Maintain version control and audit trails for all knowledge assets.

 Minimum Qualifications:
 
 
 
 
 &bull; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
 
 
 &bull; 3+ years of experience in business analysis, technical writing, or knowledge management.
 
 
 &bull; Familiarity with AI technologies, automation platforms (e.g., RPA), and knowledge bases.
 
 
 &bull; Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
 
 
 &bull; Experience with tools like MS Copilot, SharePoint, ServiceNow Knowledge Management, or similar platforms.
