Varied experience in Corporate and Retail Banking for 36 years. From June 2019 , till May2022 I was CGM in charge of Stressed Assets Portfolio of SBI, specialising in Restructuring and CIRP process under IBC. Earlier to that , for two and a half years was associated with Project Finance department specialising in funding of Infrastructure projects like HAM projects , Renewable energy, airports, etc. For one year , on deputation to Risk Management Department to set up Independent Risk Advisory (IRA) for individual credit proposals before sanction, which has now metamorphosed into Credit Review Department. Worked as DGM - Credit Audit in the Internal Audit Department for 4 and half years , auditing various high value credit exposures in major big branches covering Pre Sanction, Underwriting and Post sanction monitoring areas. Had an opportunity to audit SBI Singapore branch and had opportunity to interact with Monetary Authority of Singapore. Was a Relationship Manager (Medium Enterprises) for two years and was also in charge of a big branch handling SME Advances for two years. Was a Regional Manager in charge of 40 branches engaged in retail banking. Exposure in Stressed assets, Project Finance and Infrastructure Funding, Risk Management and Audit.
