He was managing & executing more than RO 25 Million Capex & Opex budget annually. In 2015, Mr. Al Nofli was promoted to Chief Operating Officer (COO) position. He was responsible to develop and execute the annual strategic plan for the Company to timely and economically meet the annual load growth. He was managing an annual Capex investment of more than RO 45m. From September 2014 to February 2016, Mr. Al Nofli was the acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for Majan Electricity Company. He was leading more than 400 team members, an asset base valued over RO 200m and serving over 190,000 customers. The Company had achieved an outstanding performance under his leadership. Mr. Al Nofli joined Shinas Generating Company (SGC) as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). He was responsible on overall project management including Financing, Designing, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning and Operation & Maintenance of high efficient Combined Cycle Power Plant of 1,710 MW Capacity in Sohar Port Area. This is the second largest power plant in Oman The total investment is approximately $1billion. Under his leadership the Plant had successfully achieved its Commercial Operation Date on 4 May 2019.He is leading all the contracts closing involving all the technical and commercial settlements. Abdullah is currently a board member in Sohar Calciner Company LLC in Sohar Port Area and Dhofar Desalination Company SAOC in Salalah.
