Since I arrived to the UAE in 2006, I have been involved in operating over 10 international brands representing franchisors as well as franchisees. Prior to arriving in the UAE, I have had a lengthy career in the F&B industry in the US. Having worked for multinational restaurant companies such as Brinker International, Cracker Barrel, Ponderosa, and Dave and Busters, gave me extensive experience in the restaurant business and franchise model. Since my arrival to the UAE in 2006, I was instrumental in the expansion plans of Arabian Food Supplies. In 2010 with my team, I launched Prime Hospitality (A company owned by Ghobash Trading and Investment). Secured 3 brands (Chopsticks, Butler’s chocolate Café and Russo’s New York Pizzeria). Most recently, I was responsible for the General Managerial duties, Operational duties, and Business Development duties for 4 regional brands (Scoozi, Napoletana, La Piazza, and Bob’s Easy Diner) which are brands owned and operated by the Boubess Group in the UAE. I have participated as a speaker at conferences related to franchising, including 2013, 2014,2015, and 2016 Gulfood, Future Retail conference, world Franchise associates franchise forums, Franchising &Brand Dealership in Turkey, The 2016 OMAN franchise show, and the Tamkeen 2016 workshop for Bahraini entrepreneurs.
