Looking back, my HR career was a series of 'firsts'.  14 years ago (2007), I left my home country to take on a Recruitment Consultant job in a small recruitment company in Doha. I was clueless as my penniless pocket. It was all guts, a lot of prayers and a firm belief that my new life in Qatar awaits. First overseas job, first time being away from family and first time figuring out the position I signed up for. Basically, following THE "dream". After two years (2009), I became the first recruiter for W Doha, my first hospitality experience. During my tenure with the property, I also handled the recruitment requirements during pre-opening stages of St. Regis Doha. I then laterally transferred to St. Regis Saadiyat Island as HR Generalist in 2012. By 2014, I became an Assistant Manager, Talent Management in One&Only Reethi Rah Maldives. This was the phase when I  widened my scope as an HR professional. From 2015 to 2021, I was working with Qatar Airways as HR Business Support Specialist which led to another milestone in my career - a first taste of Aviation industry.
