I am currently an assistant professor in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence field. I worked as a lecturer for nearly eight years in Computer Science and four years as an assistant professor at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University in Saudi Arabia. I delivered various courses and workshops in AI and some CS topics such as AI principles and techniques, Computer Maintenance and Data Protection, Human Computer Interaction, Web based systems and Software Engineering. I have been chosen as a trainer for Electrical Engineering path in Mawhiba program by IAU in 2021. I did my Ph.D. research at Brunel University London in the UK under the supervision of Maysam Abbod and Rafiq Swash. Brunel named in world's top 100 research institutions in 2020. The research study was concentrated mainly on hand gesture recognition using deep learning algorithms. I was a team leader for different research and project groups to propose solutions using AI techniques in Education, Energy, Health and Hajj & Umrah sectors.
