Dr Osondu had a very thorough training in the delivery of eye care services through clinical practice during his University years which produced a wonderful being in the eye Care Industry. Good at adapting to new techniques and a good organizational skill. Had one year internship program at University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Edo State where he was strongly involved in eye Care delivery to thousands of patients. Dr Osondu was employed at Eunike Eye Center in Enugu where he worked independently and is good in co-managing some systemic diseases with ocular manifestation like diabetes, hypertension e.t.c. before resigning due to personal reasons. Dr Osondu has a good communication skill in addition to being very organized. He is also a great lover of football and music of which he plays the bass guitar in his leisure time. Very good with the computer He has a special interest in public and enviromental health and always impresses both present and past employers. He is currently employed by Queens Eye Hospital, Ikoyi Lagos

My undergraduate major is optometry and I have been working for 3 years as an optometrist. In these three years, I have learned many things. For example, how to deal with patients, team work, making decisions and how to improve patient satisfaction. There were two consultants who supervised me during my time working in hospitals. They taught me a lot by guiding me and telling me what was wrong and how to correct it. They also gained experience in how to deal with patients and how the patient is the first in our work. The first consultant's field is in Amblyopia, which is one of the diseases that affect eyes. He was amazing at conducting tests on patients and I enjoyed working with him. the second counsultant's field is in Cataract, which is one of the diseases that affect eyes especially in elderly people. His way to talk and test elderly people was inspirational. Now, I have a master degree in health administration which will help me in improving health system. I enjoy work individually and team work.
