Presently, I'm Assistant Professor in Microbiology, at College of Medicine, Imam University, Riyadh (October 2013 to till date), where I involved in teaching the medical students through delivering lectures, taking PBL and providing practical classes for Microbiology, Biochemistry and Immunology. For the past 8+ years I have been chaired for Molecular basis of disease (MBOD), Principle of Disease I (POD I) and Principle of Disease II (POD I) block at College of Medicine, and also 1st Year Coordinator of MBBS program at College of Medicine, Imam University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In recent years, I have extended my research interests in microbiological research particularly on multi-drug resistance. Currently, I'm involved in the using various techniques like MALDI-TOF MS for rapid analysis of microorganism causing urinary tract infections and also elicitation of protective immunity against multi-drug resistance Acinetobacter baumannii by removing inhibitory natural antibodies, which is funded by Deanship of Research and Ministry of Education, Saudi Arabia. I also collaborated with Global Burden of Disease Network, Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation, Washington, USA and managed to publish in very reported journal like Lancet and Nature Medicine. I have published more than 55 research papers in the peer-reviewed journals and 17000+ citations.

Mabrook S Amer obtained his Ph.D. (2020) in Physical Chemistry from King Saud University (KSU). Presently, he is working as a post-doctoral researcher in the electro-chemical sciences research chair (ESRC), Department of Chemistry, & King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His research focuses on developing and designing chemical synthetic routes to fabricate new mesoporous/ mesoporous composite materials, and processes in electrochemical water splitting, CO2 reduction reaction, hydrogen evolution reaction, oxygen evolution reaction, and oxygen reduction reaction. For his doctoral research, he developed various methodologies for mesoporous fabrication involving the preparation of low symmetry, hexagonal and nano-sphere structures, and their energy production application. He used various techniques for characterization and analysis purposes such as structural determination by small and wide-angle X-ray powder, thin films-XRD, FT-IR, XPS, BET-surface area, AFM, SEM-EDAX, TEM, TGA, particle size analyzer (DLS analysis), GC, GC-MS, UV-Vis, voltammetry techniques, photoelectroatalytic and electrocatalytic CO2 reactor. He is also familiar with software that is necessary for the determination of the structure of the metal oxides, characterization of nanomaterials, and data analysis such as CasaXPS, ImageJ, electrochemical EC-Lab software, ChemDraw, 3ds Max, and Origin. He published 34 papers in international peer-reviewed journals, one US patent, and three book chapters.

Lately, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher for the Pharmacology and Toxicology department in KSU. Working on C57 mice and the relation between Alpha 7nAChR and the metabolism& obeisity. Behavioural tests, memory, fear, ...etc. I have extensive experience in RNA biology, genetic and molecular biology techniques and mouse behavioural tests.

I am a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher, who is quick learner with an unparalleled attention to detail. I have excellent knowledge in all aspects of Molecular Biology with special interest in Plant Virology. In addition to research, I have sufficient experience in teaching, research grant write-up and supervision of scientific projects and post-graduate students.
