I am currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the College of Pharmacy, Gulf Medical University in Ajman, UAE. I completed my academic qualifications (B.Pharm, M.Pharm and PhD) from JSS College of Pharmacy, Mysuru. I began my professional journey from Talla Padmavathi College of Pharmacy, Warangal as an Assistant professor in May 2010. After one year of service, I moved to JSS College of Pharmacy in October 2011. After dedicating 11 years of work at JSS College of Pharmacy, I transitioned to Gulf Medical University as an Assistant Professor at the College of Pharmacy in 2022. My PhD research was focused on Vaccinology, and I continued my research in this field, as well as in Pediatric Pharmacy Practice. In addition to my academic pursuits, I practiced as a pediatric clinical pharmacist at JSS Hospital, Mysuru. I collaborated with the Department of Pediatrics and was coordinating vaccine safety studies at JSS Hospital. Furthermore, I was involved in coordinating Multi Country Collaborative vaccine safety studies for the World Health Organization (WHO) and participated in various clinical trials for medicines and vaccines. I received a fellowship from the International Vaccine Institute (IVI) in Seoul, Korea, in 2014. Over the course of my career, I published 65 articles in peer-reviewed journals, along with 27 scientific presentations at national and international conferences. I delivered more than 60 talks in scientific seminars and conferences. I received travel grants and scholarships from several national and international agencies such as International Society of Pharmacovigilance, IVI, JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research etc.

With over 20 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration in higher education, I am currently serving as the Dean of Research and Graduate Studies and a Professor of Electrical Engineering at Ajman University. Prior to joining Ajman University in January 2016, I held the position of Senior Lecturer and Program Director of MSc Wireless Mobile Communications Systems Engineering at the University of Greenwich. I am honored to hold the distinctions of Senior Member of IEEE (SM-IEEE) and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SF-HEA) in the United Kingdom. As the leader of Ajman University's research strategic plan, I am responsible for proposing and implementing research KPIs and setting targets for the Deanship of Research and Graduate Studies. My proven track record in advancing university research outputs, scholarship, and graduate studies at Ajman University has been a driving force in my efforts to promote growth in research and post-graduate education. My research interests are in AI, Data Analytics, Cognitive Radio, LTE/LTE-Advanced, 5G, Optimization, and Cognitive Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications. I have led a number of locally and internationally funded research projects and have served as a project manager for the European project QoSMOS at the University of Surrey. I have also contributed to several European and international large-scale research projects. With a wealth of experience in post graduate supervision, I have successfully supervised 5+ PhD students, examined 3 PhD dissertations, and supervised 40+ MSc theses in the UK. I am an author of 150+ technical peer-reviewed papers in top-quality indexed journals and international conferences. My research has been recognized with 3 best paper awards, 1 best R&D track award, and I have had the privilege of chairing technical sessions in several leading international conferences.
