My Master thesis on G-protein coupled receptors( GPCRs) cover computational modeling characterization strategy of three G-protein coupled receptors; GalR1, GalR2 and GalR3. Along with my thesis work during the Global COVID-19 pandemic I have worked on computational Virtual Screening and Molecular dynamic simulation based SARS-COV-2 main protease inhibitors from FDA approved antiviral drugs and Institutional database of natural and drug-like compounds of synthetic origin. As a result three FDA approved drugs (Remdesivir, Saquinavir and Darunavir) and two natural compounds ( flavone and coumarin derivatives) were identified as promising hits .These finding against the coronavirus main protease expedite the process of drug discovery. I have published Four international research articles and 2 manuscript are summited in international peer review journals . Currently working on small molecules inhibitor identification against the variant of concerns Delta and Omicron SARS-COV-2 spike protein( S) and its mutational effect on binding with human ACE2 receptor My research interests are: Computer-Aided Drug Design RNA viruses protease Inhibition Molecular Docking Molecular Dynamic Simulation MMPBSA/MMGBSA Energy Calculation Medicinal Chemistry Virtual screening Homology Modelling Furthermore, in order to address the current global health issue, I am willing to explore new topics in computational biology, computational chemistry, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in the drug discovery and development.
