Abdelfatah Ali received the B.S. and M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Power Engineering from Aswan University, Aswan, Egypt, in 2009 and 2013, respectively. In January 2020, he obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Doctoral School of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Budapest, Hungary. In 2010, he joined South Valley University (SVU) as an Assistant Lecturer due to his excellent graduation records. In February 2020, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor with SVU. His primary duties were lecturing and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students. Currently, he is working as a postdoctoral research fellow with the department of electrical engineering, American University of Sharjah, Sharjah, UAE. Additionally, he has active research cooperation (coauthors) with several national research groups and international ones. His research interests include power systems, renewable energy sources, energy storage, electric vehicles, smart grids, and optimizations. He has published many scientific papers, including more than 48 scientific papers, in several high-level publishing houses, including scientific journals, international conferences, and scientific book chapters. He holds the position of guest editor for a special scientific publication on advanced scientific engineering topics. He is also an accredited reviewer of scientific research, as he has reviewed more than 80 scientific papers in different scientific journals. In his opinion, teaching is the noblest of professions. Through teachers, we gain the ability to understand the world, and through them, we obtain the ability (and often times the motivation) to use our intelligence, imagination, and talent. There is nothing more satisfying than making connections with students as they realize and understand the essential role that electrical engineering play in their world. Over the last years, he has had a long teaching experience for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the Department of Electrical Engineering with local and international universities. As he has been working on teaching and research since 2010; therefore, he could significantly contribute to developing innovative ideas related to the faculty position, thanks to my multi-disciplinary education and research knowledge in the electrical engineering field. Moreover, he has been awarded the university award for scientific publications in 2020, 2022, and 2022.
