This led to the privilege of being the Head of HR for Burj Khalifa, owned by Emaar PJSC, the biggest and best Property Developer in the Gulf region. Hired just prior to the historic opening. An incredible time and responsibility working with fantastic characters to serve a world-famous icon and symbol of Dubai and the United Arab Emirates. After 10 years with the leading Emaar group, I looked for a new role, industry and Country which led to a new chapter, as Senior Manager, People Experience for Noon, Cairo, Egypt. With some retail understanding from my time in Emaar Malls, I was attracted to the future of the fast, dynamic, ecommerce sector with the complexity of growth in a massive, new business startup. I enjoy hiring the right people, developing; teams and working relationships within organisations. I continue to be fascinated by people and performance and I am now looking for a new adventure to use my 25 years’ HRM experience within the Middle East and, of course, continue living under the sun.
