Tasks & Responsibilities • Preparation of Sales Plan as well as managing sales for new and existing Accounts. • Evaluate, organize and prioritize workload within a schedule Providing technical advice. • Study/Review of tender documents, scope of work, drawings, specifications, client’s requirements etc. from the tender documents for proper estimation works. • Preparing technical queries for ambiguities in drawings & specifications. • Prioritize RFQ’s that require more time to get quotation and major cost items. • Prepare & send RFQ’s for all the systems to the approved vendors to obtain project discounted prices. • Follow up with the supplier to obtain quotation in time, clarify to all their queries and meetings with the supplier when required. • Technical evaluation of supplier quotations as per tender requirements. • Pricing material & labour cost of each BOQ item in the price comparison sheets by using the quotation & a pre-determined manpower production rates. • Preparing price comparison sheet for each system and final cost summary. • Check all the addendums and communications received from the client ensuring that all the items are being clarified and considered in the pricing. • Prepare value Engineering when required. • Make sure that the quotation issued to the customer is competitive and profitable. • Liaise with Local and overseas suppliers / Contractors to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works required by client. • Understanding the technicality and operational logic behind the working of the product. • Discussing and solving complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers.
