I am a Landscaping Professional working in middle east, now for almost 30 years. I have worked for 10 years in Oman and almost 20 years in Dubai. Presently I am working with Public Services Department – Landscape Agency – as the Technical Director. I have previously worked in several Leadership roles, leading team of engineers and professionals. Such roles required me to carry out Business development, General administrative works for the organization, Monitoring the financial health of Projects and cash flow, Client and consultant dealing and quick and effecient resolving of issues, trouble shooting. Liasoning with the client and consultant’s representative, trouble shooting, meetings and decision making in project management, timeline, overall planning, invoicing, and cash flow management, was part of the responsibilities on the job. My core competencies are – Project Management, in Landscaping and infrastructure design and construction - like pipeline and pumping stations, where I could contribute to the organization works and growth, using my vast knowledge and experience. In my formative years, I gained valuable experience in Research at CBRI Roorkee, Indo Gulf Fertilizers, later venturing into an overseas assignment in the Chemicals Business (of ABG) in Thailand. With nearly 35 years dedicated to Manufacturing and Projects, my recent role involved spearheading the refurbishment of a Glycerine Plant, culminating in its successful commissioning and subsequent capacity expansion. Furthermore, I have recently overseen the execution and successful commissioning of a Greenfield Putty manufacturing setup in Rajasthan. My professional journey with Aditya Birla Chemicals, a global conglomerate, has equipped me with extensive expertise on Manufacturing & Project functions, People Management, Government liaisoning, Union negotiations, among other niches. I have been instrumental in establishing Greenfield and Brownfield projects, leading Manufacturing sites, revamping and expanding glycerine manufacturing facilities. My recent endeavors, involving a Green field project for putty manufacturing and leading overall project functions of Birla White (ABG Group), has enriched my project skillset.
