Hiring an morning Child Care Center 1-year-old classroom Teacher / Assistant

BAU Tasks:

• 1-year-old classroom Teacher / or Assistant (7:00am to 1::00pm)
• Must arrive on time at 8:00am daily
• Prepare / organize / clean up classrooms before/after each session
• Supervise foods/drinks/snacks serving to children, and help cleaning/sanitizing kitchen, dining, hallway areas, etc.
• Ability (or a fast learner) to prepare healthy meals/snacks for children (or a fast learner) is a PLUS
• Experienced in driving van / bus for school drop-offs or pickups is a PLUS

Requirements:

• Must be able to communicate, listen and partner with others in a team environment.
• Must be able to develop positive relationships with children and their parents.
• Lead Teacher must effectively guide teacher assistants, and proactively address parental concerns.
• Must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed.
• Will be responsible to implement age-appropriate activities based on children’s interests and needs under the supervision of the management team.
• Will be responsible to observe and document children’s behavior, interest and progress, and relay back to parents and management
• Additional items:
• Possessing basic computer skills: MS Word, Excel, Email, Browser, etc.
• Willing to take Coronavirus testing and complete vaccination if necessary
• Background check is required. Would prefer Candidates with their Background Checks completed not too long ago (readily portable in the Koala system )
• High energy.
• Great oral and written communication skills
• Excellent classroom leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• CDA Certificate, Technical Certificate, or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• Required training:
• Infant/child CPR and First Aid training
• Health and Safety Orientation Training (prosolutionstraining.com)
• Salary offered will be based on skills and experience, as well as the level of education/training, and recent employment verification

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
