Montessori Academy of Arcadia- Monrovia, CA

We are a Montessori school that cares for children ages 6 weeks-Kindergarten.

We have an immediate opening and need to hire for our Pre-Primary Classroom (2 Year Old Classroom).

This is a Full-Time position that requires Monday-Friday availability and work hours are 9:30-6:30.

We are looking for a fully qualified teacher with experience working with children.

Requirements:

You must have at least 12 ECE Units and 1 year experience. Please do not apply if you do not have the following:

1. Child, Growth, and Development

2. Child, Family, and Community

3. Curriculum

4. Infant/Toddler or Health, Safety, and Nutrition, or Administration Course

Qualities we are looking for in a candidate:

• Be compassionate, patient, understanding and have extensive knowledge on children's development
• Ensure that children are supervised at all times.
• Build children’s self-esteem with positive feedback.
• Provide a safe and secure environment to make children feel comfortable.
• Comfort children whenever needed.
• Clearly and effectively communicate in a manner that children understand.
• Establish routine and provide positive guidance.
• The teacher should report to the director/supervisor on a daily basis and whenever needed.
• Be punctual, professional, and reliable
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and must be able to Multitask
• Potty training and Diaper changing is mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
