3D Animator

This is a full-time, office-based position for a 3D Animator at Astrik. As a 3D Animator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, visually engaging animations that bring characters, environments, and scenes to life for films, games, advertisements, and virtual simulations. You will collaborate closely with modelers, riggers, texture artists, and directors to ensure the animations align with the creative vision and technical requirements of the project.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in 3D animation software (e.g., Autodesk Maya, Blender)

• Solid understanding of animation principles (timing, weight, movement)

• Strong creative, artistic, and storytelling skills

• Familiarity with rigging and modeling is a plus

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines

• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Your role involves transforming ideas and assets into animated sequences that engage audiences across platforms. You’ll interpret scripts and concept art to create fluid, realistic animations while optimizing for performance and quality. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the project flows seamlessly from concept to final output.

Requirements:

• Create high-quality 3D animations including characters, environments, and simulations

• Collaborate with team members including modelers, texture artists, and riggers

• Interpret scripts and concept art to develop animation sequences

• Troubleshoot animation challenges during production

• Optimize animations for different platforms (video, games, advertising, etc.)

• Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in 3D animation

• Strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing animation work

• Degree in animation, digital media, 3D design, or a related field
