3rd Grade Math/Science Teacher

Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated 3rd Grade Math & Science Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in elementary education and a love for teaching young students. This role involves developing engaging curriculum plans that encourage curiosity and a love for learning in the fields of math and science.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum for 3rd-grade math and science subjects that meets state standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students' social and emotional growth.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods and strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess and monitor students' progress through observations, assignments, and testing, and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
• Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills in students.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid teaching certificate in Elementary Education or related field.
• Proven experience teaching math and/or science at the elementary level is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and best practices in teaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities.
• Commitment to creating a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $51,500.00 per year
