DevOps Engineer

Liquid Technologies is an innovation consultancy working with some top-tier clients in the US, providing Design/Dev/Data Analytics solutions. We currently have 30+ team members in our Karachi office and we’re looking to add DevOps Engineer to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and are familiar with Ruby or Python, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will execute and automate operational processes fast, accurately, and securely.

Responsibilities

• Implement integrations requested by customers
• Deploy updates and fixes
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Requirements

• Bachelors / Master’s degree in computing / Technology related field
• 3years of professional experience as a full-time DevOps Engineer
• Experience with containers (Docker, Compose, ECS, Kubernetes, etc.), and CI/CD tooling (Git, Jira, Jenkins, Travis, Drone, Mule, Spinnaker, etc.)
• Experience and ability to manage and improve deployments across multiple development teams, and work closely with engineers to assist in the reproduction/resolution of defects
• Experience with Public cloud platforms - AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Private Cloud infrastructure providers including VMWare, IBM, and Oracle
• Proficiency in scripting/programming languages like PowerShell or Python
• Experience with RHEL based Linux distributions
• Demonstrated the ability to be a continuous integration and continuous delivery subject matter expert
