As part of our growth, we are hiring a Senior Payroll Coordinator to be our internal expert on payroll related matters, working closely with our Sales & Customer Success teams

 

Being located within a 3 hour window of GST timezone is mandatory for this role. Our preferred locations to hire from are Romania/Tunisia/Morocco/Pakistan

 

Responsibilities

In this role, you will be performing the following:

  • Prepare payroll simulations for customers (worldwide)
  • Make sure quotations are legally and financially compliant to local legislation
  • Work hand in hand with local payroll partners, EORs
  • Perform market research & identify the best local payroll partners
  • Manage and calculate taxes and deductions for EOR employee
  • Update paper and electronic payroll records by entering adjustments on pay rates, employee status changes etc.
  • Deal with complaints and questions regarding payroll and assist sales/CS teams in that regard
  • Contribute to the launch of operations in new countries

 

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven experience as payroll specialist, coordinator ideally in a payroll specialized entity
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles
  • Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
  • Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and regulations in EMEA, APAC and US or at least be determined to acquire this type of knowledge in a timely fashion manner
  • Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in accounting/business administration is a big plus
  • Fluent English with command of at least one other European major language (French, German, Spanish)
