Senior Denim Wet Processing Technician

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Senior Denim Wet Processing Technician to join our team in Karachi. The successful candidate will have a strong background in denim wet processing, with expertise in conducting trials, troubleshooting, R&D, and fabric marketing. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct trials to develop new denim finishes and effects (Denim Finishing, Denim Dyeing, Rope Dyeing, Slasher Dyeing, Looptex, Textile Chemistry, Continuous Denim Dyeing & Finishing Systems )

- Troubleshoot processing issues and provide technical support to production teams (Troubleshooting, Technical Support)

- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop new products and processes with respect to ongoing market trends(R&D, Product Development)

- Market fabrics to potential customers and provide technical sales support (Fabric Marketing, Technical Sales)

- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers (Customer Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management)

- Identify and evaluate new technologies and innovations in denim wet processing (Innovation, Technology Scouting)

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Textile Science, Chemistry, or related field (Textile Science, Chemistry, Materials Science)

- 10+ years of experience in denim wet processing, with a focus on trials, troubleshooting, and R&D (Denim Wet Processing, Textile Industry)

- Strong technical knowledge of denim wet processing, including dyeing, finishing, and quality control (Denim Finishing, Denim Dyeing, Quality Control)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Communication, Teamwork)

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment (Time Management, Problem-Solving)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Textile Science, Chemistry, or related field (Textile Science, Chemistry, Materials Science)

- Experience with chemical manufacturing and production processes (Chemical Manufacturing, Production Management)

- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards (Textile Regulations, Industry Standards)

- Proven track record of successful fabric  production, quality control or marketing/ sales experience (Fabric Marketing, Sales)
