Job Overview:
The Low Current Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of low current systems for our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of low current systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair low current systems, including fire alarm systems, security systems, and CCTV systems
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of low current systems to ensure they are functioning properly
- Respond to client service calls in a timely manner and resolve any issues in a professional and efficient manner
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Keep accurate records of all work performed, including time spent and materials used
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and changes in low current technology
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in low current systems preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in installing and maintaining low current systems
- Knowledge of low current systems, including fire alarms, security systems, and CCTV systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and after-hours as needed
