Senior Developer (Magento & Shopify)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Magento 2.0 Certified Developer to support the ongoing maintenance, updates, and development of our eCommerce projects. Currently, we manage seven active Magento 2.0 projects, and we require a skilled developer to implement updates, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with our team on technical SEO tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular updates and maintenance for multiple Magento 2.0 projects as required.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to functionality, performance, and security.

• Collaborate closely with the SEO team to meet technical SEO requirements, including page speed optimization, site structure updates, and URL rewrites.

• Participate in technical discussions via Google Meet or WhatsApp to ensure smooth communication and timely updates.

• Deliver work quickly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

• Adapt to various code structures and workflows from projects developed by multiple developers over time.

• Suggest and implement improvements based on best practices, industry standards, and new Magento features to keep projects modern and up to date.

Key Requirements:

• Magento 2.0 Certification (mandatory).

• Proven experience in Magento 2.0 development and maintenance, including managing large eCommerce sites and complex tasks.

• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices for Magento, particularly in site performance, structured data, and technical SEO.

• Flexible availability for collaboration across time zones.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work asynchronously, with availability for Google Meet or WhatsApp discussions as needed.

• Ability to quickly understand and work with codebases developed by multiple developers.

• Proactive mindset to suggest improvements, ensure optimal performance, and stay up to date with Magento standards and trends.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of Magento 2 extensions and integrations.

• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO platforms.

• Experience in optimizing Magento websites for speed and performance.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Working Hours: 7 PM to 4 AM (Faisal Town, Lahore)
