Job Description

Responsibilities

· Review company Management accounts and year end accounts and provide feedback and comments to ensure consistency and robustness to accounts

· Review and oversee all financial operations of the company including reporting and cash management.

· Ownership of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, including cashflow forecasting.

· Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting and ensure the integrity of the ledgers and associated systems.

· Support the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts. Investigate and report production and overhead variances.

· Provide financial and commercial support to the Shareholder.

· Ensure that financial controls are in place across the business and are adhered to.

· Ensure compliance with all tax and regulatory issues.

· Be the main point of contact to external auditors and provide all required information.

· Set up and manage purchasing and payment for key suppliers of Group Companies in which we take responsibility of sourcing, negotiating raw material and charge fair market price to the relevant entity.

· Potentially create back office to post all invoices that are received via email and have this process moved to Dubai from the UK, purchase ledger, sales ledger and potentially credit control.

· Review every invoice and challenge costs.

· Overview of the rental income in Dubai and UK and have an audit to ensure rental funds are received in accordance with bank reconciliation.

· Personal reconciliation of all bank accounts.

· Identify potential property investments.

· Lead and assist with tax planning.

Experience & Skills

Experience:

· Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.

· Management Accounting, Year End and Product costing experience.

· Strong Excel skills.

· Proven ability in articulating data and forecasts to stakeholders

· Excellent negotiation skills

· Ability to see wider strategic goals actions to support department and organisational strategy

· Ability to be agile and work within a faced paced environment

· Strong people management & leadership skills

· Confident and competent in managing multiple stakeholders to deliver the best value.

We are a private family office based in Barsha Heights and seeking suitable candidate to support the shareholder with his personal and business interests in managing companies and property investments in the UK and Dubai, UAE.

Salary negotiable
