Job Title: Deputy Manager Finance – Cost Controller (Factory-Based)

Location: Lahore, Pakistan

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager Finance – Cost Controller to oversee financial planning, cost tracking, and budgeting for our factory operations. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, cost optimization, and compliance with financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

Track actual production costs vs. standard yield & consumption across all plants.

Monitor raw material consumption, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure inventory reconciliation for raw materials, finished goods, and spare parts.

Develop and maintain operational reports & key performance indicators (KPIs) for production.

Establish and monitor COGS budgets, tracking variances against actuals.

Provide financial insights to plant leadership for informed decision-making.

Prepare and manage capital expenditure budgets effectively.

Collaborate with departmental heads to drive cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

Support procurement strategy, including vendor locking and re-order level optimization.

Assist in evaluating inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Review and approve service invoices based on completed plant work.

Ensure effective SAP (S4 Hana – MM module) utilization in finance and operations.

Develop and implement financial control mechanisms for cost efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

CA / ICMAP (Part-Qualified or Qualified)

8+ years of relevant experience in costing, budgeting, and factory accounts (preferably in mid-to-large-size companies).

Proficiency in SAP MM (S4 Hana) is a must.

Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work cross-functionally with finance, production, and procurement teams.

Strong team management and leadership skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
