Job description

Duties and Responsibilities

• Handling all the Local and International Purchases, Tenders and Contracts with the Vendors.
• Inventory Management, Maintaining Stock Level as per Consumption, Monitoring Stock Level on Daily Bases and ensuring stock level is sufficient to meet the Customers Demands.
• Analyzing market demand and customer behavior to anticipate future product needs.
• Monitor competitor’s offerings and pricing strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Preparing Purchase orders by Negotiating with the Local and International suppliers for the prices after verifying the Market prices and ensuring the best quality of the goods and following up with the suppliers smooth and efficient deliveries.
• Maintaining Procurement Calendar to Check the Shipment Status, Shipment Documentation Status, Tracking the shipments, Coordinating with Freight Forwarders, Shipping Lines and Suppliers for the Necessary Documents and other things if required.
• Applying for Food Items Registration in MOPH System as per the Ministry Guidelines.
• Applying All the new imported Items for Listing Price Approval for Modern Trade in MOCI system.
• Coordinating with the international suppliers for the Product Labels and Shipping Documents.
• Checking and Confirming accuracy of shipment documents and informing suppliers if Amendments required and Coordinating with Local Clearing Agents for the shipment Clearance.
• Coordinating with the Warehouse staffs for Shipments Deliveries and stock Management and shipment offloading.
• Coordinating with Warehouse Staff to ensure Goods are delivered Correct and in Good Condition.
• Arranging Joint Survey from Insurance Agents and Shipping lines, if there is any Temperature variance, Damages of Goods upon receiving the Container at warehouse.
• Handling All the Vehicles Maintenance, Repairs, Istimara renewals, Advertainments installations on the vehicles and coordination with PRO for the Licenses of the same.
