Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urology Specialist/Consultant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions of the urinary tract and male reproductive system, with a strong focus on performing surgical interventions. This role requires exceptional clinical expertise, a patient-centered approach, and compliance with UAE medical regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties:

  • Diagnosis and Treatment:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat diseases and disorders of the urinary system (e.g., kidney stones, urinary incontinence, UTIs, prostate conditions).
  • Treat conditions of the male reproductive organs, including infertility and erectile dysfunction.
  • Surgical Interventions:
  • Perform a range of urological surgeries, including minimally invasive procedures.
  • Manage pre-operative and post-operative care of surgical patients.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for complex surgical cases.
  • Patient Care:
  • Provide personalized care, ensuring patient satisfaction and adherence to high ethical standards.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain accurate medical records in line with UAE regulatory standards.
  • Participate in hospital audits, quality improvement initiatives, and performance evaluations.
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors or medical students as required.

Professional Development:

  • Keep abreast of advancements in urology and surgical techniques.
  • Attend and contribute to relevant medical conferences, workshops, and training sessions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Education:
  • MD/MBBS degree and recognized specialization in Urology.
  • Fellowship or advanced surgical training in Urology (preferred).
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a practicing Urologist, with significant surgical exposure.
  • Licensing:
  • Valid DHA/MOH license or eligibility to practice as a Specialist/Consultant in the UAE.
  • Skills:
  • Proficiency in advanced diagnostic and surgical procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and patient-care skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
  • Languages:
  • Fluency in English (mandatory); knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From AED15,000.00 per month

License/Certification:

  • Must Hold Valid Dubai Health Authority ( DHA ) License (Required)
  • Must Hold Valid Ministry of Health ( MOH ) License (Required)
